The Effective Animal Advocacy Meetup is a monthly gathering for people who care about helping animals, and want to think deeply about how to do so most effectively. Whether you're active in the movement or simply curious, this is a space for open, reflective conversations and meaningful connections.
Effective Animal Advocacy
We explore a wide range of topics, from big ethical questions to insights from research and practical strategies to make a real difference. Each meetup usually includes a short talk, a group activity, or a themed discussion, followed by time for informal conversation and networking. If you're new to effective altruism, you'll also get a brief introduction to the core ideas and how they relate to helping animals.
Thinking deeply works better on a full stomach, so we prepare a vegan buffet in advance. If you have any allergies or other dietary needs, please let us know ahead of time and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
